COMMUNICATION AWARDS, 2014-1975

Of the more than 760 awards Dr. Judith Zaffirini has won for her legislative, public service, and professional work as of September, 2014, more than 220 have been in communications. These include more than 155 statewide and more than 25 national awards for projects including speech manuscripts, public service announcements, op-eds, and publications.

Interestingly, in 2014, she won 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Honorable Mention in the speech category, and in 2012 she won three of the four awards. She frequently wins the Ann Faragher Sweepstakes Award for most points accumulated by an entrant for winning entries in the Press Women of Texas Communications Contest.
